1.living Sewage Treatment
   The city sewage is usually carried through the disposal by the methods of biology and physics, and there into the biology method is widely adopted because of the high efficiency. The polyacrylamide flocculants may apply to each phase of city waster water disposal, such as first class sedimentation disposal, second class sedimentation disposal and condenses etc, and the most application is the stage of mud dehydration. Adding flocculants has the functions of improving the mud disposal speed, reducing the water content of mud cake, decreasing the mud volume.

    The following ways should be paid attention to in the aspect of the product electrotype.
1.Generally speaking: the anionic and nonionic products are the same with alkalescency, neutrality and weak acid, and the main substance is inorganic mud. The higher the solid state content is, the bigger application amount of the flocculants is.  
2.Choose the molecular weight of flocculants according to wadding size requested by disposal craftwork.
3.The degree of hydrolysis of flocculants must pass the experiment for filtrating.
4.Improve the intensity of flocculants by the means of increasing the molecular weight of flocculants.
5.Before disposal, the flocculants must be mixed and dissolved completely with the mud.
6.The choice of flocculants must properly consider the demands of craftwork and equipment.

2.Industry Waste Water Treatment
    Compared with the inorganic polymer flocculants, polyacrylamide flocculants have the following strongpoint, such as the variety of products, high molecular weight, fine stability of the products, the strong ability of Absorption Bridge, multi-functional group, the fine flocculation effect, and the few casting and adding dosage, producing the few mud quantity and forming the wadding with good filtration.

    The anionic polyacrylamide is commonly used in the frequently-seen craftwork during the following waste water disposal: pretreatment of waster water, reprocessing, among which the pretreatment includes absorption and filtration etc and the reprocessing adopts oxidation, biology disposal and gas lubricating etc according to the different waste water character.

    Because of the relatively scope of industry waste water is wide, the contamination contained in it is complicated and the character of waster water changes dramatically, the products choice of the specific industry waste water disposal and confirming of the application amount must be decided by large amount of experiment examination and scene test. Sometimes two or three kinds of flocculants are used together according to the actual production instance.

    The usage effect of the anionic polyacrylamide flocculants is influenced by the sewage PH, suspended matter content of sewage and temperature.

3.Drinking Water Treatment
    Water-purifying craftwork includes concentration, sedimentation, flotation and filtration. In most conditions, coagulant aid is added before the flocculants, which can produce large volume flocculants to improve the detached speed of solid and liquid. Industrial water only needs concentration and sedimentation under the condition of low request.

    The polyacrylamide is cast and added when dissolved into certain concentrate at low speed under some temperature. The types and quantity of the products to be added is confirmed by the characteristics of water head & water quality and water-purifying craftwork, after experiment.

    Currently the insecurity and recontamination are arousing the more and more society’s recognition. The Polyacrylamide by itself is not toxicant, but the residual monomer in certain products is extremely toxicant. It is strictly restricted to the content in the water of the disposal drinking products. The residual monomer content should below 0.05%, it’s below 0.02% in our products, which can satisfy the demand of drinking water treatment.
